Our proprietary "Axio" is a composite of wool and uniquely cross-sectioned polyester yarn. It takes advantage of wool's natural antibacterial and deodorizing effects and does not feel cold when damp, while the polyester enhances moisture diffusion and quick drying.
This ultra-lightweight material excels in anti-pilling performance and offers the smooth texture and comfort unique to wool. With its relaxed cut, it can be comfortably worn not only for outdoor activities but also for daily life and indoor activities.
Ichinomiya City in Aichi Prefecture is globally renowned for wool processing and development. Known worldwide as "Bishu," this region encompasses the entire Owari Province. The production of yarn to the final product takes place within the Bishu area, with cooperation from various factories at each stage, resulting in a made-in-Japan material.
The MOB series features a hoodie made from the hybrid wool material AXIO. Polyester yarn is spirally embedded within the wool yarn, supporting moisture absorption and diffusion, allowing quick drying of absorbed moisture. Although conventional products have combined wool and polyester yarns, they often have a rough texture due to polyester wrapping around the wool.
However, AXIO's polyester fibers run in a spiral shape inside the yarn, avoiding surface roughness and providing a smooth texture. This results in a comfortable feel and exceptional anti-pilling strength. The smooth drape of the fabric feels soft, and the raglan sleeve pattern makes it easy to move your shoulders and arms, making it suitable for activities like hiking and running.
