Stride Lab US, founded by Takashi and Cedric, started with its first store in Boulder, CO in June 2024.

Takashi started in the outdoor, running and health industry over 20 years ago by first distributing gear into the US market and then created a very successful distribution business in Japan with multiple brands of shoes, packs, nutrition and gear. He then founded Stride Lab Japan and as of 2024 has 14 stores across Japan.

Cedric has been in the footwear industry for over 10 years in various roles from education and footwear development to international sales and general management.  Always purely focused on healthy footwear, Cedric is eager to grow the natural footwear category in the US.

Takashi and Cedric, both passionate about human movement and biomechanics, decided to join forces to introduce the first natural footwear store in the country that carries exclusively zero-drop, foot-shaped shoes and focuses on foot health and education to help people in their wellness journey.

They are now looking at opening many more Stride Lab stores across the US
